There is a huge difference between fashion and style and Xena Parsons, owner of Xena’s Beauty Company, believes if you have style then you can create fashion at any price point. All the major designers, fashion magazines, and retail stores are catching on.

On March 26th 2010, the styling team of Xena’s Beauty Company designed the hair and make-up for the brand new JC Penney’s store in New York City, the first of its kind. Fashion maven Bobbie Thomas hosted the event and demonstrated to the audience that, to look great, fashion can come from Madison Avenue or any avenue.

The summer looks unveiled animal prints, floral prints, and denim. Ruffled blouses in bright hues were paired with white jeans and pencil skirts. To compliment the casual fashion trends, the styling team of Xena’s Beauty Company created waves and soft curls for a playful edge. For summer, longer lengths are worn naturally and braided loosely. Julie Castro and Darlene Martinez created make-up looks that were sunny and natural using berry-colored lipsticks to gave the right amount of pizazz to glowing skin. Spring is all about color and the freedom to have fun!
